What is HIFEM Body Sculpting?
Electromagnetic Body Sculpting with Opatra Genesis uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) field technology to affect muscle in a way that we couldn’t do voluntarily. Dr Paul Jarrod Frank explains that in a normal squat or crunch we activate 50% of the muscle group for 3-5 seconds, HIFEM activates 100% of the muscle 22,000 times in a 30-minute period. In response to these contractions, the muscle reconstructs itself, and fat cells in the area are eliminated.
Does it work for everyone?
Muscle mass gained by HIFEM is expected to last for six months to a year, but it is recommended that you keep these results up with a healthy lifestyle of diet and exercise. HIFEM is generating the results you’d get from gym sessions but at a much faster rate. Just as a break in working out causes muscle to atrophy over time, this is no different.
How many sessions do I need?
HIFEM is not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle, it could kickstart a new regime, give you results that you’d struggle toa chieve on your own. From the first session you will feel a difference and may in fact have tenderness in the area similar to working out; the results are cumulative, with 4 being the minimum recommended number of treatments.
When will I notice visible results?
The visible effects are noticed 2-3 weeks after the last treatment but may go on improving if supported by healthy lifestyle choices. Fat cells that are destroyed through apoptosis are naturally and gradually eliminated by the body. Improvement of the overlying fat is typically seen 2-3 months after the treatment.

Who is not a candidate for HIFEM:
- Metal implants
- Pacemaker, history of cardiac issues orseizures.
- Hernia or recent surgery
- Pregnancy; IUD in-situ
The results are maintainable notpermanent!
HIFEM is meant to generate results similar to exercising, but at a much faster and more effective pace. The muscle size and tone is not permanent, but can be maintained for a very long period of time with proper diet and exercise and can be easily maintained with a follow up treatment every 3 to 6 months.
